Dear friends of winter sports,

Do you want to get out and enjoy the snow on perfectly groomed slopes? Then come with us! We have organized a ski and snowboard day trip by bus to the St. Johann in Tirol ski resort at a great price.

Of course the trip is open to students of all programs/schools.

Services included: Arrival and departure by coach, ski pass, small breakfast on the coach

Price: 69 € per person (+2 € deposit)

Departure: 6.00 a.m. at Kieferngarten (departure point bus stop of MVG line 178) or  6:50 a.m. at ZOB Munich central bus station (S-Bahn Hackerbrücke).

Please be punctual and allow for traffic jams and delays.

Return journey from the ski area at 16:30.

Important information:

  • You can book and pay for the journey directly on our partner’s website using the button below.
  • It is also possible to book only the bus journey (without lift ticket). Booking also via the button below.
  • On presentation of your bus ticket, you will receive a 10% discount at the ski rental shop Stailerei in Oberndorf. To avoid long waiting times, it is recommended (though not required) to reserve equipment in advance via the website. Alternatively, it may be worth renting the equipment at home in Munich and taking it with you.
  • There is no supervision by members of the student council, you are on your own in the ski area.
  • Ski course: We do not offer ski courses. However, because we are always asked about this, we have come up with something: You’re not that good at skiing yet and would like to learn? Find like-minded people and book (in advance) a ski course for your group at the local ski school. To find a group, we have created a Telegram-group for you. No master has fallen from the sky yet, so take heart! 🙂
  • Punctuality: Due to the drivers‘ driving times, the bus cannot wait. We will depart at the specified times.

The ski area: 17 lifts, 43 kilometres of pistes

We’ve listened to your feedback – a smaller, but no less cool ski area at what is definitely the best price this winter. You’re sure to meet other people from our group at various points in the area. Let’s take on the ski resort together! 😉

St. Johann in Tirol offers 17 lifts (incl. practice lifts) and 43 kilometres of slopes, spread over 22 runs. It is located in the snow-sure eastern part of the Alps on the north side of the Kitzbüheler Horn. You can stop for refreshments in over 20 cosy huts.

PASSPORT REQUIRED: The ski area is located in Austria. You will need the following valid identification documents to travel.

For legal reasons, you are not allowed to board the bus without these documents! All identity documents will be checked.

  • EU citizens: identity card
  • Non-EU: Passport AND residence permit (‚Aufenthaltstitel‘). An ‚Aufenthaltstitel‘ without a passport is NOT sufficient!
To booking

For a normal ticket, just select ‘Erwachsener’. You do not have to book ‘Busfahrt’ in addition.
